CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION COURSES/TRAINING

Skills certificate courses are intensive, short-term training programs. Career paths leading to a certificate of qualifications are available. Projected program lengths and program fees are indicated below. Some public agency financing is available. Costs listed below are for materials and expenses above those supported by state funding to adult schools.

Entrance requirements include a high school diploma or GED/Hi-SET, must be 18 years or older, successful score on CASAS reading assessment, a desire to fully cooperate in classroom activities and assignments, comply with standards of professionalism and good judgment.

Refund Policy

Refunds are provided if requested at least 5 working days prior to the first day of class or if the class is cancelled.  Original receipts must be presented to receive a refund.  Allow 4-6 weeks for processing.  Fees are not refundable nor transferable once class has begun, no exceptions.

Major credit cards, debit cards, money orders and/or cashier’s checks accepted.

No cash or personal checks accepted. 

 

Once a CTE textbook is purchased, it becomes the property of the student; there are no refunds for textbooks if a student drops out of the CTE program. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once classes begin.
